Scouts is about having fun while gaining valuable leadership skills and self-confidence.
Scouts enjoy outdoor adventures like mountain biking, rock climbing and lots of camping while working together with other young people to accomplish thrilling challenges.
Scouting gives every member a chance to be a leader. It might involve running an activity, organizing a camp, or participating with other young people across your province or Canada in a youth forum.
Be prepared.
On my honour;
I promise that I will do my best;
To do my duty to God and the Queen;
To help other people at all times;
and to carry out the spirit of the Scout Law.
Additional promise option (more information here)
On my honour;
I promise that I will do my best,
To respect my country and my beliefs,
To help other people at all times;
and to carry out the spirit of the Scout Law.
A Scout is helpful and trustworthy,
kind and cheerful, considerate and clean,
wise in the use of all resources.
The Scouts uniform is comprised of a shirt and neckerchief ("necker" for short) with a woggle to hold the necker together at the front. The necker, woggle, and uniform badges are supplied by the group, but the shirt is the responsibility of the Scout.
We often do group bulk purchases that save on shipping, so please enquire with the Scouter team before ordering.
